existHardware stretching partsDuring the machining process, turning materials and deformation may occur, and there are many reasons for this phenomenon. If the parts are processed by cutting, the material rotates and deforms by the guide plate. In this process, it is necessary to study and adjust the cutting edge, and also pay attention to checking whether the material clearance is reasonable. The processing technology of metal stretching parts is very important in the actual processing process. Besides these, what other factors can affect the quality of hardware stretching parts?
1. Material selection
Various materials have different tensile properties. The ratio of the blank diameter to the punching diameter is the ultimate pulling speed. Stainless steel ranges from 1 to 2.2, while carbon steel ranges from 2.15 to 2.5. In addition to heat treatment, stainless steel materials can also be stretched twice, but unlike carbon steel materials, stainless steel materials cannot be stretched like the first stretch except for heat treatment. Stainless steel pipes need to be one to two times larger than carbon steel. Generally speaking, it is best to use a double acting deep drawing hydraulic device.
2. Selection of lubricating oil
When choosing lubricants, two factors should be considered. It is necessary to provide an oil film that is scratch resistant and reduces friction. In addition, after deep flushing, it is easy to uninstall it all. Contains chlorinated or sulfurized oils or waxes, detergents, or deep soaps. Deep drawing is a method of using a punch press to tighten a circular or metal mold into thin sheet metal material, thereby forming cylindrical or box shaped hardware components. The commonly used gold stamping materials include stainless steel, aluminum, iron, copper, etc. The products of hardware stretching parts have different heights.
If there is any deviation in the stretching part, what is the reason?
For punched parts, if there is a dimensional deviation when using a punch to punch, the specific reason is due to problems with the mold structure design or product materials. Additionally, there may be an issue with the equipment. To fundamentally solve the problem and prevent its recurrence, it is necessary to investigate each one and identify the true cause.
The dimensional accuracy in metal stretching parts refers to the difference between the actual size of the stamped part and the design size. Small difference, high accuracy. In an ideal situation, the dimensions of the punching part and the edge of the mold are the same, and the dimensions of the punching part and the edge of the punching part are the same. In fact, due to the force exerted on the workpiece during the material dropping process, a certain degree of elastic deformation will occur.
The phenomenon of elastic recovery of the workpiece after cutting causes a mismatch in the dimensions of the cutting part, the edge of the mold, the punching part, and the edge of the punching part, thereby affecting the cutting accuracy of certain metals. In addition, there are many factors that affect the dimensional accuracy of stamped parts, such as material clearance, mold manufacturing accuracy, material properties, thickness, shape, and size of stamped parts, etc.
More importantly, the blanking gap. Due to the large gap between the punch and the mold, there is a significant stretching effect on the material during the cutting process, resulting in significant tensile deformation. Due to the rebound after material dropping, the size of the dropping part decreases, the size of the punching part increases, and the size of the punching part increases. If the gap is too small, the material will be compressed due to the compression of the punch and mold. Due to the elastic recovery of the material, the size of the stamped part increases while the size of the stamped part decreases;
The above content involves the processing of hardware products, and the dimensional accuracy of stamped parts is also related to the characteristics and thickness of the material. However, for general stamping manufacturers, such conclusions and explanations can be drawn because the material thickness changes very little.
