Metal stamping processing is currently a widely used metal processing method, andPrecision metal stampingMold is the more important process equipment in the processing of metal stamping parts, which is related to the final product performance and quality of stamping parts. In order to extend the service life and effectiveness of precision metal stamping molds, it is necessary to do a good job in maintenance and upkeep of precision metal stamping molds.
Maintenance and upkeep methods for precision metal stamping molds
Before use, it is necessary to check whether the precision metal stamping mold is in good condition and whether the stamping materials used meet the requirements of the process drawings, in order to prevent damage to the mold caused by raw materials not meeting the requirements and prevent the production of metal stamping parts from being completed. During the use of molds, the punch is prone to breakage, bending, and gnawing, and the stamping sleeve is generally gnawed. The damage to the punch and punch sleeve is usually replaced with parts of the same specifications. After long-term use, the cutting edge must be ground, and the surface of the grinding edge needs to be demagnetized. It must not have magnetism, otherwise it is easy to cause material blockage.
Check the looseness of each set of molds, inspect the screws, tighten the parts, and inspect whether the tightened parts are loose or damaged. If there is any damage, replace them with parts of the same specifications. Springs and other elastic components are prone to damage during use, often resulting in breakage and deformation, and require careful inspection. Replace damaged or failed elastic parts such as springs (pay attention to the specifications and models of the springs).
After use, precision metal stamping molds need to have their surfaces cleaned to remove oil, dust, and other debris, ensuring a clean, rust free, and grease free appearance. For the maintenance and upkeep of precision metal stamping molds, operators need to always pay attention to details in their daily work, do every maintenance work well, avoid malfunctions, and thus extend their service life effectively.
