Precision deep drawing is a common process in metal processing, belonging to a type of precision metal stamping. In our daily lives, we often seePrecision metal stretching partsTheir existence is due to their widespread use. Stamping parts manufacturers need to pay attention to some things when producing precision metal stretching parts, so as to better complete the production task. Below is a brief introduction for everyone.
1、 What should be paid attention to when producing precision metal stretching parts?
1. The shape of precision stretched products should be as simple as possible and stretched into shape in one processing.
2. For parts with complex shapes that require multiple stretches, while ensuring quality, the appearance should allow for possible traces that may occur during the machining process.
3. On the premise of ensuring the assembly requirements of the stretching mold, the side wall of the stretching part should allow for a certain degree of inclination.
4. The distance from the hole edge on the bottom or flange of precision stretching to the side wall is appropriate.
2、 What are the technical requirements for processing metal stretching parts?
In our daily lives, we can see many hardware stretching products, such as stainless steel insulated cups, stainless steel bottle caps, stainless steel pots and bowls for kitchen use, all of which belong to stainless steel stretching products.
Compared with the metal stretching process, the shape of the stretched part is related to the simplicity and complexity of the stretching process. Simple shapes will be stretched and formed in one go. If the process of stretching the product is complex, multiple stretches are required. Of course, this also requires increasing the number of stretching cycles and extending the interval time of stretching processes as much as possible while ensuring product quality. During the stretching process, stretch marks may appear on the surface of the product. On the premise of product qualification, the side of the stretched product has a certain slope to ensure good stretching quality in both internal and external dimensions.
Another important aspect of hardware stretching is choosing the appropriate lubricant.
The mold used for metal stretching parts is generally composed of a convex mold, a concave mold, and a edging ring. The gap between the convex and concave molds is greater than the thickness of the sheet metal. Because the diameter of the mold is smaller than the diameter of the blank, plastic flow of the material occurs during stamping and stretching. One part increased the height of the parts, while the other part increased the thickness of the cylinder wall. The stretching process is caused by the internal interactions within the metal due to material stress, resulting in internal stresses between the various units in the metal. Under the action of internal stress, the material will undergo strain state, produce plastic deformation, and be occasionally pulled into the concave mold, becoming a cylindrical workpiece. The deformation point during the stamping and stretching process is the change from a large cross-section material to a small cross-section cylindrical workpiece. In this process, the material surface inevitably comes into contact with the mold surface and generates friction. In order to reduce the friction coefficient and decrease the extrusion force, it is necessary to use high-performance stretching oil. In complex stretching processes, lubricants also play an important role.
